TD Curated Spotlight: Witch Hotline

NADA Presents
May 14, 2026, 5:30–6:30pm
NADA New York
601 W 26th Street, 3rd Floor
Operating at the intersection of performance, poetry, and occult transmission, Witch Hotline is an ongoing artistic project that channels disembodied voice, ritual, and experimental language. Framed as an incantatory exercise, the work originates from a limestone cave in Zephyrhills, Florida, collapsing distance and authorship into a singular, otherworldly broadcast. This conversation will explore the mythology, process, and evolving form of Witch Hotline, as well as its relationship to performance, authorship, and alternative modes of communication.

Featuring Frank Haines—artist, curator, publisher, and the figure through which Witch Hotline is channeled—the discussion will trace the project’s roots and its expansion across disciplines, from publishing and performance to collaborative practice. Moderated by Anthony Elms (Curated Spotlight Organizer and Artistic Director of The Mattress Factory).
